I didn’t post since a long time and I am sorry! I was working, working and working! School takes all my times! Indeed, I had presented in an old post that Edelman have to brief us on a communication problem! That’s done! We worked hard on a training problem for Roche Laboratories! My team had been in short list but we didn’t won! What a deception we had! We worked hard during 3 weeks and had stressed to presents behind a jury! Welcome in the hard world of communication! That’s what our coach M. Gaspard, a very good communicant who teach us in Iscom, says.
I am today in holidays but had no time to buy presents for christmas! School seems to think we will probably be boring without a mount of work for holidays. I have to realize a book in PAO (Photoshop and others), Works on my memory, on my junior agency, do an essay on Tendances, prepare a firm creation in spanish, present Haribo in english, do powerpoint for our next brief…and so on unfortunately.
But, with a good organisation, I hope to have time to do my favorite hobbies: cards for christmas, sports and friends.

I am just happy to say that I will go to visit my parents in Reunion Island (near Mauritius) in December! I haven’t seen them since 5 months! This christmas will be for me warm and sunny!
We don’t think that person we love can miss us so much when they live close to us. I now see my parents and brothers 1 time a year. They miss me, and I miss them!

Yesterday, we received Marie ROUET, Edelman president for Paris. She has spoken about Edelman philosophy, way of working in PR…
It was really interessant as she mentionned the importance of new PR tools like blogs and wikis. We will get a brief by Edelman in our PR lesson. To write our recommandation for them, we have to constitute groups and create in that way our own PR agency!!
It’s going to be very interesting.
On friday, we’ve got a recruitment class with John Hutson. He was the human ressources manager of Disneyland Paris, then store manager of Paris disney store and finally, he worked for Disneyland Europe. Today, he has his own recruitment office.
He explains us how to manage an interview with an agency. It was really interessant. He mixed french and english, as he is American.
I think we will be well-prepared for our future professional life!
the Iscom proposes this year a new opportunity for the student! Orange is a french mobile operator, we already work with them for our fourth year competition. The chair is totally dedicated to Orange. The school is going to choose 25 students interested in new technologies!!
It is a real opportunity for us to enter a firm as Orange!

I don’t know exactly what the speaker is going to talk about because I have take another options. indeed, we get the choice between the courses I mentionned last week and for my own, I have take Financial communication.
In “firm creation”, a professional is going to explain and detail the creation of our own stucture! He is going to explain how to build a business plan…
It sounds very interesting but I had to do a choice!

Monday, we come back at school!! It sounds a little bit “bizarre” for us before 4 months of Internship. We had a complete briefing by Mrs Munch (our director) and Mr Martin ( our coordinator). I have discovered my new class, our new courses and future actions!
